Located on the southwest side of the minor road between Howden le Wear and Fir Tree, opposite a bridleway to High Beechburn. One arm but no finial. Maker’s mark Lingford, Gardiner and Co Engineers, Bishop Auckland half way up the pillar. A horizontal break in the pillar has been repaired with two plates and bolts.
