Public footpath 509/6/1 uses the old slate step-stile in the foreground to cross into this interestingly-shaped field on the edge of Trewassa, which at its eastern end runs down to the River Inny. This curving section is a thin western arm leading up to the hamlet, and the line of the field boundaries on either side continues the line of the southern lane in Trewassa, behind the camera.
