A visitor board with a bit of local history about Cove which was one of the original villages in the area before suburban expansion swallowed them all into one. Among other things it says that Cove was once the centre of a thriving pottery industry, and is also the only local place name to be still written the same as its 11th century entry in the Domesday Book.
