This view from the car park shows a collection of listed buildings. On the left is the former superintendent's and apprentices' house that is Listed Grade II* and was built in 1810. The building with Albrew Malsters Ltd on the gable is the Cross Mill that is Listed Grade I and was rebuilt in 1812 after a fire and is of iron-framed fireproof construction. The lower building centre and right is the dyehouse that was completely rebuilt in the 1850s and is Listed Grade II*. This site is now open to the public to explore the grounds and visit the exhibition in the world's first iron-framed fireproof building of 1796-7.
