Two layers of paint, the older one not in quite the same place, but not wholly erased either, record the former F.W.Woolworth & Co. Ltd. business in these premises. The shot was taken from the east end of the footbridge at the end of Renfrew Street, which carries pedestrians over the M8 motorway and feeder roads towards Kelvingrove.
