I was treated to the previously never experienced sight of cars turning right (west) actually giving way to cyclists on this cycle track. Well done Glasgow ! Back in my cycling days that would never have happened - I often had to pointedly push my bike (slowly) in front of motorists who had chosen not to give way until they were completely blocking the cycle route despite both road markings and the Highway Code indicating that giving way to cyclists and indeed pedestrians at such junctions was mandatory.
