Houses in Meon Close on the left. Sadly the third generation of Corries to lead the family firm died in 2020 https://jbcorrie.co.uk/the-end-of-an-era/. Departing this month have been: 2nd November 2022, Ronnie Radford, scorer of “that goal” for Hereford in an FA Cup tie against Newcastle; 5th November, original East Enders cast member Arthur Fowler, actor Bill Treacher; 7th, well Helloooo, actor Leslie Phillips (ding-dong); 8th, one of my heroes British psephologist David Butler, inventor of the swingometer; 10th Hawkwind saxophonist Nik Turner; 11th Punk rock legend Keith Levene; two Johnsons, Canvey Island rocker Wilko on the 21st, and Scouse footballer David on the 23rd; 25th, she didn’t quite live forever, Fame’s Irene Cara; 26th, a rugby legend taken far too soon with MND, Doddie Weir; and on the last day of the month, Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie.
