House built by Samuel Horton, builder, named Wainfleet House. Horton is listed here in 1897, and he is also listed as builder for a number of houses on the road. Planning files give him as owner of one house, no.14, approved in December 1895, apparently for himself. He is still listed here in 1919 but in 1928 a side consulting room and waiting room were added for Dr J W Dalgleish. This extension now seems to be the no.16. The current OS map shows it as 1 to 7 suggesting it is now 7 flats as the 2018 planning application that included conversion of the garage into a 1 bed flat.
