A construction progress photograph taken circa May 1989 prior to bridge jacking operations over the railway lines. Temporary Bailey bridges can be seen on the east and west sides of the road bridge to support the utility services until the bridge has been jacked up into its final position. A temporary footway to maintain pedestrian access over the bridge can be seen in the centre of the image. Waterproofing to the east side of the bridge deck has just been completed.
