Bristol's city dockside has departed; in its place are new, modern buildings that are nothing like the old, dirty and heavy industries. Rising first above Bristol Bridge was the 1960's monolith: the D.R.G. office building. Later residential neighbours are closer to the riverside and occupy the sites of warehouses, factories and the type.
