A construction progress taken circa May 1989 during a night shift possession of the rail track (permanent way) to jack up the bridge located over the railway track to provide the required clearances to install a new overhead electrification cable system. The image shows an operative monitoring the stroke of one of the four hydraulic rams located at each corner of the bridge. A similar arrangement was used at the other hydraulic rams to ensure the bridge was raised evenly at each corner. Image] Image] Image] Image] Image]
