Hadnock Halt was formerly a stop on the Wye Valley Railway which closed to passengers in 1959, the track is now a cycle way between Monmouth and Symonds Yat. On the wooded hill in the background, just to the left of the electric pole the letters 'ER' commemorating the coronation of Elizabeth II can be seen.
