Here is the gatehouse to Old Court Farm, built of sandstone rubble in the fourteenth century. This was built as the gatehouse to the Bishop's Palace, demolished many centuries ago when Old Court Farm was built on the site. The gatehouse housed the village gaol for some time before housing a hop store. The gatehouse, altered several times since it was built, was grade II listed in March 1986.
