Large art deco apartment development completed in 1937, designed by George Kay Green. Originally with 676 flats, now increased following the conversion of some of the top floor communal rooms, it claims to be the largest block of flats under one roof in Europe. Arranged in a number of blocks and wings, this photo shows the central Block C.
