Skippool Creek

This is Skippool Creek, located on the western bank of the River Wyre between Thornton and Poulton-Le-Fylde in Lancashire. Though somewhat run down now, it was once a busy port. The tide is rising here and the creek was navigable about an hour after this shot was taken.
