‘Goosey’, the Goose Fair goose sits on the Goose Fair roundabout on Mansfield Road. The model, made from fibreglass and timber, is about 6ft 6ins tall and appears each year to celebrate the annual Goose Fair which takes place at the nearby Forest Recreation ground on the first weekend in October. She has sat on the Mansfield Road roundabout since the 1960s (https://www.visit-nottinghamshire.co.uk/things-to-do/goosey-the-goose-fair-goose-p586881 Visit Nottinghamshire).
