A building of two distinct parts, and therefore probably an amalgamation of two separate former houses. The left part is late 17th or early 18th century in origin, constructed in timber framed with a brick and render covering, whilst the righthand part is latter 18th century. The whole was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101254912-the-coach-and-horses-public-house-shrewsbury#.Y2lD0XbP3IU & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1254912 in 1969.
