Lanherne is a sheltered housing complex on the site of a Regency villa. The Exeter Road house shows the bi-coloured brick construction so characteristic of the area. Another local material is the pale grey limestone seen in a wall. The clifftop path (Thompson's Path) here is shaded by an old Holm Oak (Quercus ilex), the signature tree of the Regency period.
