Underground station on Haverstock Hill opened on 22 June 1907 when the Charing Cross, Euston and Hampstead Railway (CCE&HR) was opened to Golders Green, later extended to Edgware and now part of the Northern Line. The building was designed by Leslie Green, who was responsible for all the stations on the line, with a characteristic terracotta frontage and semi-circular windows. This station is unique among his designs in having piers and railings enclosing a forecourt. Grade II listed - see https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1401089?section=official-list-entry.
