This was built as a National School, but these sometimes served as chapels for out-of-the-way places. It is now too small to be viable as a school, and is now a mission room to serve a large area of scattered houses. The Holmfirth parish website does not mention that regular services are held here. Although a long way from the village, this was in the former civil parish of Wooldale.
