The following text is included in the panel: The Irish National Foresters (INF) have had a long association with music in Omagh, particularly St. Eugene's Brass and Reed Band. Acknowledged as Ireland's first Showband, the Clipper Carlton Dance Band began their career in this venue in the 1950s. Over the years the INF has featured countless live music bands and performers. In earlier days, 'No Jitterbug' and 'No Jiving' signs were put up in the venue! Can you guess why? In the picture, attendees at a dance in the INF, do you know anyone in the image?
