Start of public footpath passing through Croome Park, Worcs

This is one of a small number of public footpaths which pass through Croome Park. It goes up to the former local parish church of St. Mary Magdalene, which can be seen in the distance. This church was declared redundant in 1973, and is now in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. After the church, the footpath heads in the direction of Pirton.
