This photo was taken from Grand Parade, Eastbourne, and it looks along Carlisle Road toward the half-mast flag flying from the flagpole at the top of the Heritage Centre. This half-mast flag, at the time of her passing, symbolised the love, honour and respect which her subjects felt for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
