This statue of William Shakespeare on Henley Street has just been erected and was unveiled last month, July 2020. It stands just down the road from the bard's birthplace which can be seen in the background to the right. It is a gift to the town by Stratford businessman Tony Bird OBE; it was sculpted by James Butler of the Royal Academy.
