Bradford Beck was once known as T' Mucky Beck because of the pollution it acquired as it flowed through Bradford. It is now culverted as it flows through the city centre and emerges as it heads to join the Aire at Shipley. Here it is seen entering another short culvert with a display of modern pollution in the shape of shopping trolleys etc.
