Dairy Crest's Davidstow Creamery, seen from the A39. It opened in 1950 and produces 55,000 tonnes of Cheddar annually, under the Davidstow and Cathedral City brands. The factory is a landmark for miles around, and employs over 100 people - a significant number in rural Cornwall.
