This image dates from 2011; the towers are 1000 metres away (about 1100 yards). Seen here from the Trent and Mersey Canal near Brereton, the Rugeley Power Station cooling towers were demolished by controlled explosion on 6 June 2021. Other infrastructure was demolished earlier.
