Cromwells

The black & white timber-framed building is known as Cromwells as he (or his troops) stayed here during the civil war. Taken from the much altered old churchyard whose tower is known as the Pepperpot. Gravestones now line the gently sloping path allowing wheelchair access to the information centre that occupies the remains of the church tower buildings.
