The unsolved Croydon poisonings of 1928 and 1929 when Edmund Creighton Duff, his sister-in-law Vera Sidney and his mother-in-law Violet Emilia Sidney all died from arsenic poisoning was one of the great unsolved crimes of the 1920s. Vera Sidney and Violet Sidney are in this grave while Edmund Duff and two of his daughters who pre-deceased him are in a grave to the left - see https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/7298655 The two graves together can be seen at https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/7298654 All three bodies had been later exhumed.
