This shows part of the lounge bar. The functions room has its own bar serving the same selection of drinks. Ale standards remain high and varied. I don't know about the cold fizzy stuff, which you can get if you ask nicely. Note: Despite what it shows on the pump clip, Wainwright "Amber" has nothing to do with the Lake District apart from the Wainwright branding name. Wainwright (pale) ale was formerly brewed by Thwaites in Blackburn (until 2015). Wainwright Amber is a new product brewed in Wolverhampton, and tastes like a tweaked Banks's (Amber) Bitter. Image]
