Temporary hoardings were erected blocking Pilgrim Street while the demolition of Commercial Union House was undertaken in summer 2022. Image shows the portion of the building which was built over the street necessitating the closure of the road for its demolition. The demolition work has fully exposed the rear of Carliol House, which itself is due to be partially demolished and incorporated into new development on the site.
