View down Hood Street in central Newcastle. The former Commercial Union House, which once stood on Pilgrim Street opposite the end of Hood Street has been demolished, temporarily leaving a large gap and a view of the rear of Carliol House, which is also facing demolition. Image shows the state of demolition works 6 weeks earlier.
