This old property has parts dating to the 16th century according to its Grade II list entry https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1080296?section=official-list-entry It isn't clear why the property became abandoned but, whenever it was, it can't have been that long ago given the presence of a satellite dish.
