Vitafoam was established in 1949 to manufacture latex foam products, moving into these two former cotton mills in 1955. Now called Vita's Comfort UK, part of the Vita Group, it 'converts polyurethane foam focusing on bedding, upholstery, and medical markets'. It is good to see these fine old buildings still being used for manufacturing, even though the product has changed.
