Trenhale Lane, just before it becomes School Lane. Stile is to the right of double wooden farm gates. The footpath here is often overgrown, and walkers are advised to travel east along the field edges to Trenhayle Farm. Three raised granite bars – a high coffen stile or a low cattle stile? Coffen stile – a stile built over a pit – like a granite cattle grid. Coffen is a Cornish word for a man-made hole in the ground.
