The building bears a plaque: 'Dedicated to the everlasting memory of two brothers who lived on this site, Sergeant H.A.M. Cox, No 97 Squadron RAF killed in action over Augsburg April 17th 1942 and Private J.H. Cox, 1st Battalion the Gordon Highlanders killed in action at Caen 16th June 1944.' The house is now also a bakery.
