Originally 18th century, but altered in the 19th; the internal bridging beams suggest that much of the structure may be a timber frame. They were collectively Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101261504-6-and-7-smithfield-road-much-wenlock#.Yw-DKnbMLIU & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1261504 in 1986.
