Adeiladwyd traphont 18 bwa Cynghordy yn 1868 gyda cherrig o gwar yn Nynfant, Abertawe. Yn mesur 700 troedfedd o hyd a chyda uwchder o 109 troedfedd fe'i disgrifiwyd fel un o gofebau rheilffyrdd gorau yng Nghymru. The impressive eighteen arched viaduct was constructed in 1868 with stone extracted from a quarry in Dunvant, Swansea. Measuring 700 ft long and 109 ft high it has been described as one of the finest railway monuments in Wales.
