Most village war memorials to the fallen of the First World War are in the form of a cross mounted on a plinth although occasionally a different design was selected. Naseby has this lion carved from Hornton stone. It was produced by J G Pullen & Sons and dedicated in 1921. 13 names are inscribed on the plinth, two of which are from the Second World War.
