Part of the churchyard. The Anglican parish church of St Peter was originally built in the 12th century. In the 13th century the nave was extended, the chancel was rebuilt, and an aisle was added. In the 14th century the north porch was built. In the 15th century the upper part of the tower was added, and the 16th century saw the south aisle enlarged and the south chapel formed. The church was restored in 1893. Constructed of rubble stone with some flint under roofs of stone slates, lead and tiles.
