Lancaster Place is the approach to Waterloo Bridge from the north. An underpass (fenced, below centre; note the bikes) takes northbound traffic to Aldwych. On the left is the southwest front of Somerset House. Ahead, a 176 bus calls at bus stop T. The star is the logo of the Pret à Manger sandwich chain. The photo has been cropped to exclude a bunch of cones.
