Gazebos have been set up at the edge of the George V Field, just before the start of the Strathblane Wildlife Sanctuary Open Day. Sunshine brought in good numbers of local people and a few visitors from further afield to learn about the latest plans for the wildlife sanctuary (on the other side of the track), go on guided walks and to see some moths and other invertebrates found there. There were also stalls with home-made cakes, freshly cooked burgers, plants and locally made soap for sale.
