All over the grass verges are the first fallen fruits of the lime trees. The most prominent feature is the leaf-like bract which may slow the fruit's descent or act as a sail. Also in view: houses built by the Nelson family for their workers; the houses and garden walls are constructed using an early form of concrete block.
