A tree and a cellular antenna tower. To the left of the tree is the course of the River Welland. Rockingham Road was historically the A427, the east-west route to the Midlands. It is now designated A4304 and the A427 designation ends on the A6 bypass to the east. But there is no east-west bypass for the town, and traffic toward Lutterworth and the M1 still passes right through Market Harborough, one way or another.
