The Isle of Portland, some 6¼ miles away across Weymouth Bay. Seen from the path. Leaving Osmington village, the route follows the long distance South Dorset Ridgeway across fields to Osmington Mills. Then turning right to follow the long distance South West Coast Path along the coast past Black Head to Redcliff Point. The route then turns right to ascend Osmington Hill and a return to the village. About 3¾ miles.
