Grade II listed Wyncote House at 126 London Road. Built for William Henry Wheeler by Samuel Sherwin in 1885 to Wheeler's own design. In 1861 Wheeler was appointed by Boston Corporation as their Borough and Harbour Engineer and amongst numerous projects in the town, was responsible for the development of the deep water dock in the 1880s, before retiring in 1905. It is now a preparatory school.
