F.S.Anderson & Co. built a feather factory on this site in 1871, rebuilt in 1877 after a disastrous fire with this marvellous elevation to Trinity Street. The business and premises were acquired by Edward Fogarty in 1901 and traded under his name until it went into administration in October 2018. The wonderful grade II listed building was converted to apartments shortly afterwards.
