A few years ago, standing in the middle of the Moneynick Road during the day would have been extremely dangerous as it was part of the main A6 route between Belfast and Derry/Londonderry. With the opening of the new A6 between Randalstown and Toome a few hundred metres to the south, this road is now extremely quiet and has been redesignated as the B183. I was here for 5 minutes with only two vehicles passing me.
