The right-hand end property of a terrace of 5 early 19th century cottages, built to house workers at the nearby former canal basin. The other end of the terrace is Image Like the others in the row, this one was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/300008128-4-lower-canal-road-powys-newtown-and-llanllwchaiarn#.YuudYnbMI2w in 1988.
