WCML railway at Carluke

The train is a Cross Country Glasgow to Edinburgh service with 4-car unit 220028. The industrial site on the other side of the railway was the site of the Whiteshaw Iron Foundry. The old railway embankment on the right carried a mineral railway which was disused by 1896.
